Lavazza has finalized the acquisition of French coffee brand Carte Noire from Jacobs Douwe Egberts. The transaction value is 700 million euros. And it will not be the only acquisition: according to Antonio Baravalle, Group CEO, the coffee market offers enough space to build a third worldwide group.
