Among the most innovative start-up in Emilia Romagna, there is Compopack, from Imola, which offers mechanical and digital solutions for the circular economy. In particular, the start-up produces and markets eco-sustainable coffee and infusions capsules and pods obtained using a patented automatic mechanical packaging machine. The first product is Ecopod: an automatic machine for the production of naked wafers (i.e. without wrapping) for the coffee, therefore completely compostable.
