French SEB\'s sales in South America at 190 mln euro Jan-Sept 2007

French household appliances maker Groupe SEB SA registered sales worth 190 mln euro ($278.61 mln) between January and September 2007 in South America, up 11.3 pct year-on-year, compared to the same period a year ago, Colombian daily Portafolio said on November 13, 2007.

The company did not provide further details for its South American operations, but expects the sales in the region to continue growing.

The sales of all kinds of household appliances, made by SEB, registered growth in Colombia, the French company said.

SEB was created in 1953.
