Recent studies show that your daily dose of coffee is not necessarily harmful. Indeed, it could
even do you good. In the right dose it can lift the mood and make us more vigilant; an excessive dose, however, can cause anxiety, tremors and sleep disorders. The Food and US Drug Administration and the European Food Safety Authority claim that a quantity of 400 mg of caffeine (about two or three cups of filtered coffee, depending on the size of the cup) does not cause any problems to healthy adults.
