Italy's illy boosted by Chinese and American taste for espresso

Interview to Andrea Illy talking about his family-owned coffee business. Revenues and underlying net profit jumped as Chinese and American consumers drank more of its signature pure Arabica espresso last year. The higher sales came after the company, entirely owned by the Trieste-based fourth-generation Illy coffee dynasty, agreed a joint venture last year with multinational conglomerate JAB for illy coffee capsules to be sold in supermarkets globally.
