Kraft Foods Ukraine has announced its plans to introduce a new range of packaging coffee under brands such as Carte Noire and Jacobs Monarch in the city of Trostyanets, reported Food Biz Daily.

Kraft Foods Ukraine has announced its plans to introduce a new range of packaging coffee under brands such as Carte Noire and Jacobs Monarch in the city of Trostyanets, reported Food Biz Daily.

The company intends to commence the production of the new line at the former sugar factory, which it previously acquired to expand its coffee and chocolate production in Ukraine.

Apart from the production of the new coffee line, the facility will also have space for raw materials and finished products. By the end of 2009, Kraft Foods Ukraine is planning to shift the coffee production from its facility in Vyshgorodskiy to the new facility in Trostyanets.

The company is also looking to increase the production of its chocolate under other brands like Corona and Milka.

Yuri Logush, vice president of Kraft Foods Ukraine, was quoted by the news source as saying: "The new line has successfully passed all the tests and will be launched in a couple of days."
