Lavazza further increases investments in Barista brand

Lavazza's local shareholders, Barista Sri Lanka, are undergoing restructuring, and are positive towards the growth of the brand and concept in Sri Lanka. Recently, Lavazza finalized their comittment to further invest in the Barista business in Sri Lanka. The company plans to invest in a total revamp of the business including restructuring and has already appointed a CEO and a very strong operating team to overlook the development in the future.

Commenting on the new plan, Chairman of Barista Lanka Pvt. Ltd., Ajith Dias said, "My board and I are extremely positive towards this increase in investment since we believe that the best place for customers to relax and enjoy the best espresso coffee experience served in Sri Lanka is Barista.

The espresso Bars will be further strengthened by the new food lineup giving the customers another reason to visit Barista and enjoy the total experience the brand can offer."
