The North American subsidiary of Lavazza has restructured its Away from Home (AFH) Division in the U.S., and appointed Robert Coco its director.

Coco, a 27-year coffee industry veteran, joined Lavazza in 2003 and has worked to bring Lavazza's systems and products to a significant number of large and prestigious national accounts. Coco's new role will be to ensure the growth of the business by presenting Lavazza's "One Stop Shop" strategy to all tiers of the hospitality and foodservice industry within the U.S.

"With the help of newly appointed national sales manager, Francesco Giordano, and a talented group of regional managers, Coco and his growing team will champion a full range of single-serve espresso systems (Lavazza BLUE), along with our portfolio of drip and espresso blends," says Ennio Ranaboldo, CEO of Lavazza North America, "two product lines that are exactly what the industry has been asking for in terms of quality and convenience."
