Piece of news on Nespresso’s sustainability project “Da Chicco a Chicco” (“From Coffee Bean to Rice Grain”). Started in 2011, "Da Chicco a Chicco" is the circular economy program that can transform a coffee capsule into a grain of rice, regenerating the raw materials it is made of. The aluminum is separated from the coffee and transformed into new objects, the coffee can become compost which is donated for rice cultivation, then bought back by Nespresso and donated to the Food Bank.
