Nespresso dona 1.100 toneladas de arroz cultivado con posos de cafe' (Nespresso donates 1,100 tons of rice cultivated with coffee grounds)

The 'Arroz Solidario' (Solidarity Rice'), the initiative that takes advantage of the coffee grounds left over from recycling coffee capsules to produce an agricultural compost that acts as fertilizer in the fields of the Ebro Delta. Every year from 2011, Nespresso buys the harvest and donates it to the Spanish Federation of Food Banks.
