According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "The invention relates to a filtering device fitted on a brewing chamber of an appliance for brewing infusions and includes a filter located under a hot water intake nozzle, a tank having a base comprising a filter and located opposite a flow spout for infusion; the space generated between the two filters being intended to receive a certain amount of products to be brewed. According to the invention, the filter of the tank has a deformable wall capable of occupying, under the effect of a manual force, two stable states on either side of an unstable position, either a state for receiving the ground coffee in which the wall projects towards the outside of the tank, or a state for ejecting the ground coffee in which the wall projects towards the inside of the tank and in which the wall is moved by said force applied from the outside on said wall. The invention applies in particular to espresso coffee machines."
