After a poor night’s sleep, saving the first cup of coffee until after breakfast may not sound appealing, but research suggests it could reduce your risk of developing diabetes and heart disease. A study published in the British Journal of Nutrition found that drinking a strong, black morning coffee could impair the body’s ability to control blood sugar levels.
