Scotland throws a million drinks cups in the bin every day and this must change

Piece of news on the unsustainable consumption of single-use cups, very often coffee cups. Hundreds of millions of single-use cups are used every year in Scotland alone and the Scottish Government is proposing the introduction of a charge on single-use cups. Keep Scotland Beutiful, through its Cup Movement campaign, is trying to change people behaviours and is also involving the industry.
