Starbucks to eliminate 300 corporate jobs in turnaround push
Starbucks Corp. will eliminate 300 corporate jobs in the United States and close four regional offices as part of its turnaround effort, the company recently announced. It said it would take about US $ 400 -million in charges for expenses related to the office closures and severance pay to employees. None of the layoffs or closures affect its stores.
