Nestlé Professional has opened a new tasting laboratory in Helsingborg, Sweden, where a type of coffee machine has been installed that is often used at Swedish cafés, restaurants, hotels and workplaces. It is to be used to decide on the best flavour settings for different Zoéga and Nescafé coffees. Five coffee experts are to work full-time at the laboratory tasting coffee with different granules, dosages, extraction times, oxygenation, and temperature. When the optimal parameters for different coffees and machines have been established, these settings are to be sent to operators via email or as a programming card.
