Italian coffee brand Lavazza launched in Quatar

The famous Italian coffee brand Lavazza was officially launched in the Qatari capital city Doha on Saturday.

The coffee - the market leader in Italy - will be supplied in Qatar by Al Jassimya Holding, a subsidiary of International Foodstuff Group (IFG), the Peninsula reports on Sunday.

It has been available during this year’s Qatar Masters golf championships.

"Lavazza Qatar is bringing something extra to this market. New suppliers are setting up, but it will be the quality of products and service that companies are prepared to invest in that will change dramatically in the coming years," Rabih Safa, executive vice president of Al Jassimya Holding.

Lavazza has more than 110 years experience and more than 2,400 employees worldwide.
